Hey you guys. Popping in today with some SUPER EXCITING NEWS. (Please note the shouty caps.)
Next week, starting bright and early Monday morning, we are heading off on a week-long virtual retreat. Remember them? Unfortunately, Mr Worthington will not be accompanying us this time, because the whole Lara Bingle thing kind of ruined it for us, but fret not! I have secured another wonderful gentlemen to serve us our bubbles and prepare us our meals. He loves washing dishes and doing laundry, too. Meet me back here at 7 a.m. Monday morning with your bags packed. It’s about to get really fun around here.
In the meantime, a little Fuel Yourself Friday post — gathering bits of good I’ve found around the place. Fill up. It’s Friday. I know you’re tired.
(A minute and a half that will have you cartwheeling and spraying out bits of glitter as you twirl.)
Spend a quick two minutes looking at this: 35 gorgeous moments which will restore your faith in humanity. I’m a sucker for these articles — all the feel-good feels! Number 5! And 10! And 11! And 18! And 22 — goodness me.
A old favourite but played stacks this week– play it and play it loud. In four words, such an eloquent description of love: your mess is mine.
Loving this article this week. Be sure to watch the video. Your dose of beauty and happiness and love for the day.
And this quote:
“Often people attempt to live their lives backwards: they try to have more things, or more money, in order to do more of what they want so that they will be happier. The way it actually works is the reverse. You must first be who you really are, then, do what you need to do, in order to have what you want.” ~Margaret Young
Ending with some happy pics.
And a sweet Friday Photo Dump today (@theredtent on Instagram if you want to follow the feed).
It’s been so nice to see you tagging #smallhappies on Instagram and sharing your Small Happies with us! Here are some of your happy moments I’ve picked to feature in today’s post.
Keep on tagging your pictures. Every Friday we’re going to feature your small happies here in the tent.
I will see you here bright and early Monday morning for the beginning of our retreat. Invite your friends. Tell the world. Let’s get outta here!
