Our Road Trip Film
We’re all nursing post-holiday blues. A long weekend full of cheese and fires and friends and big open country side and wine tasting and farm animals and happy children running around everywhere we look. Tracy and I have been comparing how dark and gloomy our husbands are now we’re back, and her husband is currently in first place but Joel is lapping pretty closely behind. What can I say? We love the country. Real adult life is not all it’s cracked up to be. And everything is better with a glass of wine in your hand.
Popping in today with a film of our Stanthorpe road trip, a project I so loved putting together and something the kids have watched a million times already — Billy pointing his finger at the screen and shouting, “My Ella!” every time she pops into view.
Sweet, simple childhood is my favourite.
(Click here if you can’t view the film.)
Stanthorpe, you are a big ol’ dream and we’ll be back again in the spring, when we can swim in your rock pools and pick your yellow wildflowers. We love you so.
Honey, oh baby, mine.
